Intellectual Property Policy

Purpose
This Intellectual Property Policy governs ownership, licensing, usage and protection of intellectual property associated with BrainzTalks, its educational programs, internship ecosystem, software products, APIs, AI systems, assessments, research initiatives and related services.
Ownership
Unless expressly stated otherwise, all platform software, source code, APIs, AI models, datasets, databases, user interfaces, algorithms, documentation, educational content, assessments, designs, graphics, branding materials and proprietary technologies are owned by BrainzTalks and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Trademarks and Branding
BrainzTalks names, logos, product names, service marks, branding assets and associated visual identities are proprietary assets. Users may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute or imply endorsement through BrainzTalks trademarks without prior written authorization.
Platform Content
All learning materials, tutorials, videos, documentation, templates, guides, internship resources, assessments, project frameworks and training content provided through the platform remain the intellectual property of BrainzTalks or its licensors unless otherwise indicated.
User Submissions
Users retain ownership of original projects, reports, code, research documents, assignments, portfolios, presentations and other materials they independently create and submit through the platform, subject to the licenses granted under this policy.
License Granted
By submitting projects, assignments, internship deliverables, code contributions, research outputs or portfolio materials, users grant BrainzTalks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, review, evaluate, process, display internally, verify authenticity, conduct assessments and maintain records necessary for educational, operational, compliance and platform administration purposes.
Contributor Content
Where users voluntarily contribute code, documentation, datasets, templates, educational materials or open-source contributions intended for inclusion in BrainzTalks products or repositories, additional Contributor License Agreement (CLA) terms may apply. Such contributions may be incorporated into commercial or non-commercial products operated by BrainzTalks.
Internship Deliverables
Work products developed during internships, sponsored projects, consulting assignments or organizational engagements may be subject to separate internship agreements, contractor agreements, client contracts or statements of work. Ownership and licensing of such deliverables shall be governed by the applicable agreement.
AI-Generated Content
Users are responsible for ensuring that AI-generated outputs submitted to the platform comply with applicable laws, intellectual property requirements and ethical standards. BrainzTalks does not guarantee the originality, ownership status or non-infringing nature of AI-generated content.
Restrictions
Users may not copy, distribute, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code, create derivative works, scrape content, reproduce assessments, duplicate educational materials or exploit BrainzTalks intellectual property without explicit authorization.
Third-Party Intellectual Property
Certain content, software libraries, APIs, datasets, trademarks or resources available through the platform may be owned by third parties. Users must comply with all applicable third-party licensing requirements and intellectual property restrictions.
Copyright Infringement
BrainzTalks respects intellectual property rights and may remove, disable or restrict access to content that is alleged or determined to infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets or other proprietary rights.
Reporting Violations
Individuals who believe that intellectual property rights have been violated may submit a written complaint containing sufficient information regarding ownership, alleged infringement and supporting evidence. BrainzTalks reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate corrective action.
Reservation of Rights
Except for limited rights expressly granted under applicable agreements, all intellectual property rights, title and interests in BrainzTalks services, technologies and content are reserved by BrainzTalks and its licensors.
Policy Updates
BrainzTalks may modify this Intellectual Property Policy from time to time. Continued use of the platform following publication of revised terms constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing Law
These terms and policies shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in accordance with applicable laws.
